It went wonderful!!! Shawnie was so quick on her responses, and very helpful and knowledgeable! My boyfriend and I were looking for a puppy that would fit in our family, we have two cats and another German Shepherd who is high energy and loves to play play play, I let Shawnie know our life style and what we love to do and she was able to help us pick the perfect puppy for our family, when I messaged her she only had two puppy’s left, I wanted to meet the puppies before I put a deposit and Shawnie was on it and had quick response and was able to meet us so we can meet the puppies she had left, my boyfriend and I just couldn’t decide on which puppy to choose but Shawnie was there to help us pick the puppy that best fit our family! Now we have the best puppy that fits in so well with our family, and on top of that our puppy is quick to learn and is very playful! Without Shawnie not only helping us pick the perfect puppy for our home, she was very quick at responding and very knowledgeable!

We had a great experience with this breeder. Shawnie is excellent with communication, and we were kept updated with information, pictures, and videos after the pups were born. She was very responsive and accommodating with our requests. After bringing our puppy home, it was obvious he had been raised with love and great care, and we found him to be a highly intelligent, confident, and well-rounded pup. I had reached out to Shawnie to let her know I was interested in a GSD female but did not want a puppy. When Harley had to have a C-section with her puppies, Shawnie reached out to me asking if I was interested in her. Of course I was and since I live in Hawaii it is quite a process, needing proof of two prior rabies shots then a rabies titer for Direct Release upon our arrival in Hawaii. Shawnie took care of all the necessary vet visits including having her spayed before I picked her up. It was a smooth process and Harley is here and loves my 7 year old female GSD. She is so loving and well trained, I could not ask for more. Harley had had extensive testing including Embark DNA, as well as eye and hip-elbow testing. Having had GSD in the past and knowing what breeding issues there can be, I totally support the way Vom Osuna K-9 approaches their breeding program. I could not be happier with my Harley.

We are so thankful to Shawnie at Vom Osuna K9's. This was our first ever experience with a breeder and she helped us understand their lineage, temperaments, health testing, and how to go about choosing a litter member best for our family. We told her exactly what we were looking for and she watched as the litter grew and helped us choose the exact most compatible temperament. She kept the puppies until they were fully vaccinated and provided us with all of the documentation, including training options for when we were ready. We brought home our long-haired German Shepherd, Laszlo, from Vom Osuna K9s on July 3, 2025, when he was just 8 weeks old.
